Joe Crozier, Head Swim Coach

Coach Crozier brings over 35 years of coaching and leadership experience to the team. He started swimming competitively at age 10 and was a University of Tennessee Swimming & Diving Letterman. With experience coaching all ages, he is dedicated to helping swimmers of all abilities reach their full potential in the pool and develop skills that will help them through life as they grow.

Coach Crozier completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education and his Master of Science in Exercise Physiology at the University of Tennessee. He was an All-American Triathlete and a 2-time Hawaii Ironman Finisher. He previously coached for Central High School, 2 Summer League teams, and Pilot Aquatic Club here in Knoxville. He is excited to help our team and individual swimmers perform at their highest level.

Outside of coaching, Coach Crozier is a photo encaustic artist and enjoys paddleboarding, fly fishing, and camping with his wife, Emily. He recently moved back to Knoxville from Huntsville, Alabama and is looking forward to reconnecting with old friends, the swimming community, and all that the city has to offer.
