Appropriate attire is a form of courtesy that creates a respect for the Club and a pleasant atmosphere for all members and their guests. A clean and neat look is expected everywhere in the Club.


 Golf Course and Practice Facilities

Proper attire for male golfers includes slacks, appropriate length shorts, and collared shirts.  Collared shirts include turtleneck and mock turtleneck shirts.

Specifically prohibited are cut-off shorts, athletic shorts, tennis shorts, cargo shorts, cargo pants, muscle shirts, jeans and denim clothing, and swimwear or jogging wear. 

Proper attire for women golfers includes slacks, skirts, appropriate length shorts, and appropriate golf shirts. 

Specifically prohibited are halter tops, tank tops, swimwear, overly revealing clothing of any kind, jeans and denim clothing, cut-off shorts, cargo shorts, cargo pants, and jogging attire. All permitted attire must be clean and free of holes and wrinkles.

Men and women golfers must wear appropriate footwear at all times. Appropriate footwear includes any form of smooth soled, spikeless shoes. No shoes with steel or metal spikes will be permitted on Fox Den’s golf course or practice facilities.

Pants and shorts that fit well and ball caps that face forward can be combined to create an extensive, appropriate wardrobe while maintaining the dignity of country club attire. Simply put, a clean and neat look is expected.
