State-of-the-Art Teaching Facility The Club proudly offers the Fox Den Teaching Facility, a complete learning center consisting of two indoor hitting bays allowing Members to work on their swing fundamentals year-round.
The Teaching Center features state-of-the- art TrackMan 4 video system for teaching and custom club fitting. Originally designed primarily for club fitting, TrackMan now offers advanced assessment of the student’s ability and potential. The TrackMan system is capable of measuring ball speed, clubhead speed, launch angle, clubhead angle of attack and path, just to name a few. The Teaching Facility is one of the top golf club fitting studios in Tennessee. The use of TrackMan and fitting clubs from the likes of Titleist, PING, and Callaway allows our members to get the most out of their golf swing and game by analyzing and comparing different club heads, shafts, etc. Practice Facilities Our practice facilities promote game improvement on all levels. The driving range, with multiple target greens, has a Bermuda playing surface, which is over-seeded for use during the winter months. A short game complex allows players to practice green side and bunker shots, and a 10,000 sq. ft. contoured putting green allows ample space for practice. For added convenience, a second putting green, useful for practicing short putts and chip shots, is located adjacent to the first tee.Golf ProShop Operated by PGA Professional Danny Ackerman, the Golf ProShop boasts a well-stocked inventory of clubs, clothing, and accessories. The Golf Shop offers custom fitting of clubs for men, women, and children. A full compliment of inventory includes brands such as Footjoy, Under Armour, Polo Ralph Lauren, Cutter & Buck and more! The newest technology in golf clubs from Titleist, Ping, Calaway and more brands are available for purchase and custom order. Beginner and seasoned golfers can find comfort in knowing that the Professional Staff is always present to assist Members and their Guests. The Buyers Club allows Members to purchase new, top-of-the-line equipment and apparel with a discount off retail prices. Locker Rooms Locker rooms provide a warm and comfortable environment for Members to enjoy while at the Club. Personalized lockers are available as fully stocked vanities for use before or after a round of golf. Shoe shine services are also available. Bag Drop Service The outside golf staff is always available to assist the needs of our Members and their guests at the designated bag drop area and golf cart staging area. The staff also offers additional assistance such as the cleaning of clubs as Members return from a wonderful round of golf. |
