 Mike Davis, General Manager

Mike brings over 26 years of Country Club General Manager experience, primarily in the southeast US. He is both a Class A Member of the PGA and a Certified Club Manager of the Club Management Association of America. Mike has a proven track record of running a successful club operation and is passionate about providing an incredible member experience. Additionally, Mike has extensive experience with clubhouse and golf course capital projects.

Caroline Inman, Assistant General Manager & Membership Director

Caroline is a University of Tennessee Alum, receiving her Bachelors in Communications with a focus in Journalism & Electronic Media. She is responsible for all membership & banquet sales here at Fox Den. Caroline puts her degree to good use by managing all of Fox Den's marketing & member communications! 

Caroline enjoys all things outdoors and has a natural zest for life! She loves making people laugh and the art of sarcasm is not lost on her. She is super family orientated and loves the Fox Den Family dynamic. 

Caroline has been part of the Fox Den family for 8 years!

 Chrissy Lambert, Food & Beverage Director

Chrissy has been with the Fox Den family for over 10 years and is a key player in our success. She has over 20 years of experience in the Food & Beverage industry. Chrissy's management skills & outgoing personality make her the perfect fit for Fox Den's food & Beverage Director.

Chrissy attended the University of Tennessee and loves all things UTK Sports!

 Linda Crowley, Executive Chef

Linda has been a VITAL part of Fox Den for 16 years and we are so excited to have her as our Executive Chef. She has  made such an incredible impact in our culinary department, from creating our delectable menus to training the most amazing Culinary Team! 

Chef Linda grew up in Kentucky on a thoroughbred horse farm known as the Old Man of War Farm. She started enjoying cooking at the young age of 10. Chef Linda went to the Louisville School of Bakery and on to the Culinary School of Palm Beach Florida. Linda has completed many sought-after and respectable internships, including The Hespira in Finland and the Breakers Hotel in West Palm. She moved to Tennessee to raise her daughter Siobian. Chef Linda is a certified educator/pastry chef and has taught at multiple Culinary Schools. Linda has also been published in Club Resort, Business Magazine and The Knoxville News Sentinel. She has received numerous awards and medals for her outstanding culinary skills!

We look forward to all of her delicious creativity!

Danny Ackerman, PGA, Head Golf Professional

Danny grew up in Central Illinois where he was a Golf Professional at three different private clubs. Danny was the 1st Assistant Professional at Mt. Hawley Country Club in Peoria, IL for four seasons before coming to Fox Den in 2014. Danny played two seasons at Illinois Central College. His accomplishments there included two individual medalists and All-Conference honors for both seasons. He completed a degree in Business Marketing at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, IL in 2005 and completed the PGA/PGM program and received his PGA membership in 2012. Danny received the 2015 Assistant Golf Professional of the Year for the Tennessee PGA Section. Danny credits his passion for the game and enjoyment of working with others as the key factors of his being a Golf Professional.

Dave comes to Fox Den Country Club as a USPTA Elite Tennis Professional and PPR Certified Pickleball Coach. Dave has been teaching racquet sports since 1998. He began his instructing career at Tyson Park and developed his teaching craft working with former ATP Touring Pro and Tour Coach, Steve Annacone, at Smoky Mountain Tennis Academy and CBRC Tennis Director, Rusty Morris. During his career, Dave has traveled the South working in amazing locations such as the tropical Islamorada Tennis club in the Florida Keys, Sunset Hills Country Club in Carrollton, Georgia where he was the assistant Tennis Coach for the University of West Georgia’s Lady Wolves, and the world-class Ritz Carlton, Key Biscayne, with tennis legend Cliff Drysdale.

Dave plays with a HEAD Radical MP with 16g HEAD Velocity MLT string. He wears HEAD Sprint Pro 3.0 shoes. He also plays with a HEAD Radical Tour GR Pickleball Paddle.

Jason_Jenkins_Onboarding_Pic Jason Jenkins, NSCA-CSCS, TPI III, Director of Fitness

Jason relocated from the Charlotte, NC area, where he served as the Owner and Director of Ryse Golf Performance. Prior to his time in NC, he was the Director of Golf & Body Performance in New York City. With over a decade of industry experience, Jason uses a client-centered approach to deliver long-term sustainable results. His customized programs and holistic approach to health and fitness are tailored to the individual needs of each client resulting in efficient and effective outcomes.

Jason's areas of coaching emphasis include golf performance, racquet sports, weight loss, and preventative care. He holds national certifications through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, Titleist Performance Institute, and Precision Nutrition. Jason looks forward to using his extensive training and experience to help Fox Den's members reach their health, fitness, and performance goals, both on and off the course and courts.

Scott Severance, CGCS, Golf Course Superintendent

A Certified Golf Course Superintendent, Scott holds a turf degree from Michigan State University and has over 25 years experience in golf course maintenance. Over the course of his career, he has held positions in North Carolina at Mid Pines Golf Club and Little River Golf Course, Florence Country Club in South Carolina and Crystal Mountain Resort in Michigan. Scott joined the Fox Den staff in early 2004, just prior to our extensive golf course renovation project. His experience proved invaluable to making the project a success for the club.


Patti Thigpen, Controller

A native of Knoxville, Patti joined the Fox Den staff in June 1998. She graduated from the University of Tennessee and relocated to Nashville in 1982, where she served as Controller and later, General Manager of The Cumberland Club of Nashville, a private city club. She moved back to Knoxville in 1992 to be closer to her family. Patti’s accounting experience ranges from positions with international companies, including Nova Information Systems and Pilot Corporation.
