Doug Anderson, Food & Beverage Director Doug Anderson is a California native with a heart for East Tennessee. Graduating from California State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Doug excels when given financial puzzles to solve and budgets to balance. After working as a mortgage banking analyst on the west coast for over ten years, Doug’s passion for hospitality and culinary creation drew him to learn more about restaurant management. He has been in the industry for over twenty years managing Knoxville area restaurants, such as Chili’s, Bonefish Grill, Calhoun’s, Aubrey’s and Bistro by the Tracks. During that time, Doug has served in all front and back of house positions and honed his skills in spotting financial trends that reduce food and labor costs while improving guest experience through facility training and professionalism. Doug’s greatest accomplishment is becoming a father and leading his wife Chesney and sons Evan (25), Grayton (4) and Walton (9mo). The Anderson family have been members of Fox Den Country Club since early 2018 and enjoy taking their youngest sons to the pool and dining on the Tackett’s patio in the summer. Easter and Fourth of July are their favorite holidays to celebrate at the Club.
He is a lover of craft beer and bourbon as well as Nicaraguan cigars. When Doug is not working, he enjoys entertaining and cooking for friends and family, playing his guitar, seeing live music and spending time on 30A beaches with his family. |
