Dave Largent General Manager
|
Dave joined the Fox Den staff in October 2007. He has been a resident of West Knoxville for over 26 years. He earned a bachelor’s degree in hotel restaurant management from Michigan State University. Prior to Fox Den, Dave spent 26 years with ClubCorp, the world's largest owner and operator of private clubs. During his tenure, he enjoyed success in numerous positions from club manager to senior vice president. He hired and mentored numerous club managers and was recognized with many awards. He is known for his dedication to member and employee satisfaction, general leadership, and hands on knowledge of private club operations. |

Cathy Storm Membership Director

Cathy joined Fox Den in March 2008, bringing with her more than twenty five years experience in the hospitality and real estate industries. The early days of her career were spent as a sales representative for the Inter Continental Hotel in Miami. Cathy progressed through the ranks of sales and marketing positions in the industry, working in Boston, Washington D.C., San Francisco, and New York City, where she became Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Cunard Hotels and Resorts. She later enjoyed a successful career stint in the field of new construction real estate sales in southwest Florida and east Tennessee. Now on board as Fox Den’s Membership Director, Cathy’s experience in sales and marketing has proven successful in achieving membership growth. |

Scott A. Moran, PGA Head Golf Professional

A graduate of Tennessee Tech University with a bachelor’s degree in business marketing, Scott joined us as Head Golf Professional in May 2007. Scott was formerly employed at Cherokee Country Club in Knoxville, where he served as assistant golf professional, pro shop manager, and tournament operations manager. Scott was named Tennessee Tech’s Most Valuable Player twice, and he was Champion of the 2003 Millstone Pro-Am (professional division) and the 2006 Callaway Open. He has also received numerous accolades as a golf business professional, including being named the 2005 Knoxville Chapter PGA Assistant Professional of the Year and the 2008 Merchandiser of the Year for Private Clubs by Knox Chapter PGA. |

Scott Severance, CGCS Golf Course Superintendent |
A Certified Golf Course Superintendent, Scott holds a turf degree from Michigan State University and has over 20 years experience in golf course maintenance. Over the course of his career, he has held positions in North Carolina at Mid Pines Golf Club and Little River Golf Course, Florence Country Club in South Carolina, and Crystal Mountain Resort in Michigan.
Scott joined the Fox Den staff in early 2004, just prior to our extensive golf course renovation project. His experience proved invaluable to making the project a success for the club. |

Rob Cameron Director of Sports Activity & Head Tennis Professional |
Rob began playing tennis at age nine, competing in juniors, high school, and collegiate levels before playing two years professionally. In 1994, Rob was ranked Number One in Knoxville in the Men’s Open Doubles and Men’s Thirty-and-Over Doubles Divisions. Rob has been teaching and coaching tennis for over 30 years. He was the Director of Tennis at the Weston Field Club in Weston, Connecticut, before coming to Fox Den in 1989. To his credit as a teacher, Rob’s students have consistently finished top in the state, section, and nation. Rob has conducted clinics throughout the United States and abroad with such renowned tennis professionals as Tim and Tom Gullikson, Paul Annacone, Roy Emerson, Wendy Turnbull and many more. Rob currently has a P-1 USPTA Rating. He was also named as Fox Den’s 2008 Employee of the Year. |

Julie Crane- Limbaugh Private Events Director |
A Kingsport, TN, native Julie chose to make Knoxville home after graduating from the University of Tennessee. She has enjoyed many accomplishments, including selection for the Special Services Division during her seven year tenure as a Philadelphia, PA based Flight Attendant for US Airways. Julie gained additional experience in the hospitality industry during her employment with two major hotel brands, Marriott and Hilton, in hotel sales and catering. She was the recipient of Marriott's Associate of the Year for her performance during the grand opening year of the Meadowview Conference Resort and Convention Center in Kingsport, TN. In 2007, Julie joined the Fox Den family as the Event Coordinator where she assists members and sponsored non-members in all phases of event coordinating by planning both corporate and charity golf outings, business meetings, wedding ceremonies & receptions, and anniversary & birthday celebrations, just to name a few. |

Heather Crutcher, CCM Clubhouse Manager |
A Certified Club Manager, Heather joined Fox Den as Clubhouse Manager in May 2010. She has been in the hospitality industry for twenty years and managing in the private club industry since 1998. Over the course of her career, she has held positions in Tennessee at the Jackson Country Club and The University Club of Memphis; Omaha Country Club in Nebraska; Forsyth Country Club in North Carolina; and at the Oklahoma City Golf and Country Club in Oklahoma. She is an alumnus of Oklahoma State University. |

Sandra Jetton Executive Chef |
A member of the American Culinary Federation, Chef Sandra discovered her love for the culinary arts at an early age. During her high school years, she was already overseeing food preparation and production in local dining establishments. Upon graduation, she attended LeChef Culinary School in Austin, Texas. After earning an honors degree in 1993 and working in various country clubs located in the southeast, Sandra chose to return to the Knoxville area. Serving first as the private chef for several prominent Knoxville families, Sandra later accepted the position of Executive Sous Chef for Cherokee Country Club. In 2000, Sandra was promoted to Executive Chef at Fox Den. |

Tommy Hart Assistant Clubhouse Manager |
Tommy began his career at Fox Den in the fall of 1997 by joining the golf cart maintenance staff. After a year in the golf department, he joined the food and beverage staff, specializing in banquet service and setup. Tommy also served as bar manager for Ginty’s Lounge and Assistant Food and Beverage Director before being promoted to Assistant Clubhouse Manager. |

Patti Thigpen Controller

A native of Knoxville, Patti joined the Fox Den staff in June 1998. She graduated from the University of Tennessee and relocated to Nashville in 1982, where she served as Controller and later General Manager of The Cumberland Club of Nashville, a private city club. She moved back to Knoxville in 1992 to be closer to her family. Patti’s accounting experience ranges from positions with international companies, including Nova Information Systems and Pilot Corporation. |

Ron Buchanan Maintenance Director |
Graduate of Tennessee Vocational Technical College, Ron earned a degree in Air Conditioning, Electrical, and Plumbing. Ron has served as Building Maintenance Manager since September 2007. A certified HVAC technician by the state of Tennessee and a certified universal by the Refrigeration Service Engineers Society, Ron has over 25 years experience in the maintenance field. Previous to working at Fox Den, Ron was the assistant maintenance manager and housekeeping manager at Cherokee Country Club in Knoxville. |
